Robot sectors

Commercial robotics is seven distinct markets moving at different speeds. Each sector hub has a ranked leaderboard, current statuses and the latest tracked events.

Humanoid Robots

Humanoid robots are general-purpose, human-shaped machines built to work in spaces designed for people. 2025–2026 is the sector's inflection point: the first units are working real shifts in car plants and warehouses, and makers are racing from demos to production lines.

Warehouse & Logistics Robots

Warehouse robots are the most commercially mature sector in robotics: autonomous mobile robots, robotic pickers and goods-to-person systems already move a meaningful share of global e-commerce volume. The question here isn't whether they work — it's throughput, integration and ROI.

Delivery Robots

Delivery robots carry food, groceries and parcels the last mile — on sidewalks at walking pace or on roads in purpose-built pods. After a decade of pilots, several operators now run genuinely commercial services across US and European cities and campuses.

Household Robots

Household robots are the one sector where you can spend money right now: robot vacuum-mops with retractable arms and AI obstacle avoidance, wire-free RTK lawn mowers, and cordless pool robots. This is the most affiliate-relevant sector — and the most crowded, so specs and real prices matter.

Cooking & Food-Service Robots

Cooking and food-service robots automate the hottest, most repetitive jobs in commercial kitchens — frying, bowl assembly, pizza topping — and the front-of-house running of dishes to tables. Most are sold as Robots-as-a-Service subscriptions to restaurant chains; a few consumer machines automate home cooking.

Medical & Surgical Robots

Medical robots split into two families: surgical platforms that extend a surgeon's precision in soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures, and hospital service robots that haul supplies and medications. This is the highest-value, most regulated sector — install bases and FDA clearances tell the real story.

Agricultural Robots

Agricultural robots are quietly some of the most deployed autonomous machines on Earth: spray drones covering millions of acres, autonomous tractors doing tillage overnight, and laser weeders replacing herbicide passes. Economics, not novelty, drive this sector — cost per acre decides everything.
